New
York, NY – Ever wonder why
your favorite celebs look so, well, flawless? Part
of it may be due to good genes, but more than likely
the credit should go to a dermatologist.
Dr.
Jim Baral of American Dermatology Center and Assistant
Clinical Professor Dermatology and Pediatrics Mount
Sinai School of Medicine, whose celebrity client
roster includes Cindy Crawford and Gisele Bundchen,
treats a number of high-profile beauties. Dr. Baral
provides the following list of most requested celebrity
treatments, so everyone – not just the rich and
famous – can look fabulous.
"The
number one treatment requested by celebrities is
Botox," states Dr. Baral, "Botox is a quick, painless procedure that
helps reduce the signs of aging." Botox improves
the appearance of wrinkles, including worry lines,
frown lines, laugh lines and crow’s feet. How it
works: Botox is injected directly into the muscle
to be treated and it becomes paralyzed. The problem,
such as frown lines or crows feet, is alleviated
and the skin smoothes out. Effects last between
three and six months.
How
do celebrities maintain their youthful glows? Dr.
Baral says a number request a new procedure called
Salt-A-Peel. Dr. Baral combines traditional
micro peel technology with a combination of integrated
skin care products and positive pressure salt abrasion
to reduce the look of fine lines/wrinkles, sun damaged
skin, age spots and uneven skin tone. He says celebrities
love it because it doesn’t leave any redness or
streaking and they can return to normal activities
immediately.
Dr.
Baral is affiliated with Mount Sinai Medical Center

Board of Dermatology and Pediatrics and is a member
of several medical societies including the American
